Fish Hoek Scribblers, formerly called the Fish Hoek Writers' Circle, is a creative writing group that meets once a month in Fish Hoek, a suburb of Cape Town in South Africa. Meetings are usually held on the third Thursday of the month (except December). Meetings are open to anybody - there are no joining requirements or membership fees. Each person attending a meeting simply pays a nominal amount to cover the cost of hiring the venue and to pay for tea, coffee and biscuits.
